Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age Of Grotesque

Marilyn Mansons newest album, The Golden Age Of Grotesque, in one word is crap. On every Manson there is a great single, and a bunch of other good songs that are really good, but can't be played on the radio or MTV due to references to drugs, sex, or just foul languge. The first single off his new album is called mOBSCENE, it hasnt really gotten any airplay and the main reason is, it sucks. Mansons past albums always have a really good first single, such as Sweet Dreams, Beautiful People, Dope Show, Coma Black, but his first single doesnt have the feel. Part of it may be because his bass player Twiggy left the band last year and joined another band. I think the lost of twiggy has effected Manson's songwriting. The album has more of a pop rock feel then a normal hard rock album like past albums have been. So unless you are a die hard Marylin Manson fan, skip this album, and just listen to the older CD's like Lunchbox, Mechanical Animals, Holy Wood (not that good, but a few good songs), and my personal faviote, and his most famous album Antichirst Superstar.
