Jurassic World Rebirth

Jurassic World Rebirth is such a disappointing movie. I knew going in that it was going to be bad, but I am a sucker for these Jurassic movies because I love seeing these dinosaurs cause chaos, and this movie did not disappoint on that end. Most of the dinosaur scenes were intense and kept me at the edge of my seat. However, it’s almost not worth it since you have to watch a terrible story with some of the worst acting I’ve seen in a movie. They spend so much time setting up these characters and their backstories like we care, but we don’t. We just want to see them become Dino-chow. I spent most of the time either throwing my hands in the air or putting my head down, running my eyes because these characters are so stupid and make the dumbest decisions that I was hoping for them to get killed because of their stupid decisions. For example, as seen in trailers, a female inflates a raft while a sleeping Tyrannosaurus rex sleeps 100 feet away, and she knows it’s right there. Idiot! I will say that scene with the Rex is one of the highlights of the movie but ends too quickly. One thing these Jurassic World movies need to stop doing is having hybrid dinosaur mutants. The D Rex and the flying raptors are the same threat as a normal T-Rex and normal raptor. Overall, this movie is as disappointing and boring as the last movie, Jurassic World Dominion, with an even worse storyline and characters you don’t give two Dino poops about.
UPDATE: after seeing it a second time. I enjoyed the movie a lot more then my first viewing. By already knowing the story and the acting are horrible I turned off my brain and just enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of Jurassic Park 3 which is pretty much all action. So I’d say it’s an enjoyable movie and I need to stop thinking these movies will ever have a good story. Jurassic World Dominion is still the worst Jurassic movie, I’ll never change my mind on that one.
