2010 Christmas Movie's Of The Day

December 1st 2010 - The Nightmare Before Christmas

Thing I always ask myself about this movie, is it a Halloween movie or is it a Christmas movie? Either way its a great movie, incredible stop motion effects and awesome songs. Even Marilyn Manson has covered a song from this movie.

December 2nd 2010 - The Santa Clause.

I really liked this movie. It was funny and had a unique story. However both sequels were really bad, especially the third one.

December 3rd - 2010 - Gremlins.

Part Horror, part comedy but to me it is also part Christmas movie since it takes place at Christmas time and Billy gets Gizmo as a Christmas present. Who could ever forget the movie theater scene where the Gremlins are watching Snow White or the bar scene. Classic movie and fun to watch for the holidays.

December 4th 2010 - Jack Frost.

No not the cute kid friendly Jack Frost, this is a horror movie of a killer snow man on the loose. Sound dumb? Yeah it is but its a good horror b-movie. What other movie has a snow man taking his carrot nose off his head and put it "down there" and use it to rape a girl in the shower?

December 5th 2010 - The Polar Express.

This is one of my son David's favorite movies. He even watched it a lot during summertime. I think he likes it so much mainly because 3/4 of the movie takes place on a train and he loves trains. I'm so sick of the movie personally, but it really isn't that bad of a film. It stars Tom Hanks and he does the voice for almost all the characters.

December 6th 2010 - Die Hard.

Sure you might think its an action movie, but to me its also a Christmas movie since it takes place on X-Mas eve and there are a lot of Christmas related things in the movie. One of my favorite movies. Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker.

December 7th 2010 - Scrooged.

I love Bill Murray, he is freaking funny as hell.

December 8th 2010 - Home Alone.

I don't know why but every time I hear the name of this movie or see it on TV I cringe. Don't know if it because I am just sick of it or because they have milked a total of 4 of these movies out. However I can't deny that it was a fun and funny movie the first time (maybe even the second time) I saw it. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the burglars are really what makes this movie stand out. Screw that Culkin kid.

December 9th 2010 - Die Hard 2.

Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker. Another Christmas Eve, another Die Hard movie. Not as good as the first one, but its still a good movie. Much better then the 4th one they did.

December 10th 2010 - Bad Santa.

A funny movie. Not for children. Also stars the late John Ritter and Bernie Mac.

December 11th 2010 - The Grinch.

Most people didn't like this movie, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Would I watch it again? Probably not. But I enjoyed the visuals and the look of the Grinch. I think it was Jim Carrey that ruined it. I mean you can’t really tell it’s him, until he does his crazy actions and comedy. Just don't think that belongs in this story.

December 12th 2010 - Elf.

December 13th 2010 - Jingle All The Way.

A fun Holiday movie staring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sinbad, and the late Phil Hartman. It also stars Jake Lloyd who you may know as young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. There are a lot of cheesy quotes in this movie that always makes me laugh.

December 14th 2010 - Home Alone 2.

Don't think anyone ever expected a sequel to the first movie with the same characters. I mean how do you lose the same kid 2 years in a row at Christmas time. It is an ok movie I guess. Don't bother seeing the 3rd and 4th ones though. Main thing I remember about this movie is that it was the first movie I was allowed to go see at the theater by myself.

December 15th 2010 - Batman Returns.

Takes place around Christmas, and there is a lot of Christmas related objects in the movie so it is a Christmas movie in my book. I don’t think people realize how dark this movie really is. The Penguins main plan in this movie is to go around and kidnap all the first born children of the city and take them into the sewer and drown them. I mean damn that’s evil. Sure other villains in the Batman movies have evil plans but none involve kidnapping and killing children. Also the music in this movie and the first Batman movie is just great.

December 16th 2010 - Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer (TV Special).

Not really a movie, but its a classic TV special.

December 17th 2010 - Fred Claus.

Its an ok movie I guess

December 18th 2010 - Frosty The Snowman.

Another classic show you see on TV every year.

December 19th 2010 - The Santa Clause 2.

Not as good as the first one but it's still enjoyable to watch.

December 20th 2010 - A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This is shown on TV every year, and every year it is just as before. I still love the little Christmas tree.

December 21st 2010 - The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Who doesn't enjoy watching the Muppet's? I am glad there is a new Muppet movie coming out next year.

December 22nd 2010 - He-Man & She-Ra Christmas Special.

As much as I loved He-Man, this special was just terrible. Don't remember to much about it other then Skeletor was nice and caring in this episode. He was protected some wild animal and trying to help kids that got stuck there from Earth. Since I could not find a trailer, this is some music video someone made with a Faith Hill song.

December 23rd 2010 - A Christmas Story.

If you have not seen this movie, turn on the TV in the next few days. I am sure it will be on all the time. Last year I think it was TBS that had a 24 hour marathon of this movie, so maybe they will do it again this year.

December 24th 2010 - The Flintstone's Save Christmas.

I have just one question. How can the Flintstone's celebrate Christmas when Jesus wasn't even born yet?

December 25th 2010 - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

My personal favorite Christmas movie of all time. I watch it every Christmas eve as we help Santa put presents under the tree.
